In 2003 I invented the “Freudenstein mini bass”. The first instrument on the globe that made it possible for children already from the age of 5 to learn double bass. Since that time the „Freudenstein-Minibass“ conquered children’s hearts all over the world. It´s influence on the worldwide doublebass pedagogy was clearly reflected in new compositions and the increasing number of double bass players.
